just saw ALI vs Norton 1 again on VS

and one interesting thing about this fight was that when it went to the judges there was ONLY 2 not 3. and if u didnt know both judges had it differently one had it for ALI one had it for Norton so............the 3rd deciding final party to judge was none other than..................... the REF?????????? WTF????????? damn the old school fights must have ****** to have the ref be the 3rd deciding judge?

the REF had it unanimously for NORTON and he won their first bout.

i think it can be GOOD or DEADLY WRONG....... bro how many times have we seen idiot refs so BIAS and actually obviously FANS of one of the fighters fighting?

i remember in one of the more recent JMM fights i believe the ref actually told JMM that he was WINNING and gave him advice in the corner. i couldnt believe my eyes and ears, and then larry merchant even BLASTED HIM for even being able to be a ref for being so biased and unprofessional telling one fighter that he is clearly winning the fight!

there would also be more pressure on refs to not be so biased and not let so much favoritism slide

I say a big NO to that. I think it would be very tempting for a ref that likes one fighter to like him that much more if he got to judge the fight.

Right but to keep it REAL i feel GENERALLY SPEAKING LATINO refs would get slammed by the crowd if they didnt favor the latino fighter lol. i mean thats just real talk lol and same would go for other races as well.

i remember B-Hop was pissed that the ref for his fight with tito was gonna be latino lol. but B-Hop should of never thrown down the PR flag in the first place thats just bad karma waiting to bite his head off lol

Norton was in a fatal accident that left him paralyzed for 2years!
damn i never knew that!
doctors even told him he'd never walk or talk again.

Buffer said that Norton was like i aint going out like that and he overcame his tragedy and began to walk and talk and chew gum again lol.
