well idk, he's athletic enough to get himself out of trouble, but his defense isnt very good at all, i agree.

Even when he has his hands up, fighters have been able to just hit them out of the way, Wright did it all night long in there fight.

My prediction is tko in round 9. I think Taylor knows how to survive well enough to avoid a flat out ko. I think it will end up getting stopped due Taylors eyes swelling shut.

I think your over rating Taylor's ability to get hit. don't get me wrong Taylor is easy to hit .. judging from his fights. Ouma, Hopkins, Spinks, they hit him ... and didn't really have trouble finding Jermain.

but if Wright really hit Taylor "all night long" .. then how come the fight ended in a draw?

seriously .. yeah Winky was hitting Taylor ... but he took every other round off ... and wasn't consistant enough to win a 12 round fight .. (according to one judge at least)

and I coulda sworn you said Spinks hurt Taylor or something of that nature (I dunno if thats 100% accurate so if im off could you could rephrase that?)

if Spinks did damage to Taylor .. why didn't he press the action more? cuz you have to know that Spinks only landed 85 total punches.


but as a Taylor-Pavlik prediction .. so hard to predict, both have been winning (obviously by their records) .. but Pavlik's have been more impressive .. so I dunno where to lean toward .. I just want to see an entertaining fight more than anything.

It's true, never underestimate a champion like Jermain Taylor, but man, envisioning this fight in my mind I can't help but think that Pavlik is going to hard to beat man. Walking through those shots by Miranda impressed the hell out of me and if Taylor does win, it'll be by decision because if Taylor decides to brawl, Pavlik will get the best of him.

Possible fight outcomes.

1-Taylor keeps Pavlik at bay all night on the end of his jab and that straight right hand.

2-Pavlik backs up Taylor all night (Taylor backs up A LOT) en route to a UD.

3-Pavlik backs up Taylor and knocks him out (Hey, Winky was able to back up JT and do damage).

4-Taylor's athleticism gets him to a tight split SD.

I thought winky definetly won the fight. Jermains got a bunch of "gifts" in his career.
