what is the best performance of this decade?

mosley-dlh 1: with only 2 fights @ ww, shane becomes the first to clearly beat the great oscar de la hoya.

mayweather-corrales: floyd schools and dominates top 5 p4p fighter chico, dropping him 5 times.

barrera-hamed: haveek gets his head thrown into the ringpost and wins 2-3, rounds maybe.

hopkins-trinidad: hopkins schools and dominates tito, a top 2 p4p and maybe an atg in his prime

forrest-mosley 1: the viper dominates p4p king mosley

pacquiao-barrera: manny moves up and beats the tar out of top 5 p4p and atg barrera

barrera-morales 3: barrera moves up to 130 and wins a war over morales

hatton-tszyu: ricky becomes king of 140 and makes the great tszyu quit. tszyu was in the top 5 p4p list.

hopkins-tarver: hopkins jumps 2 divisions and wins 11-1 against ring mag champ tarver.

Two of my favorites right there, gotta agree with your list, some really great fights in there.

I wish I had seen more of these fights. I think Mayweather-Corrales out of the ones that I have seen, but I'm sure it's not the best on there. I am not voting on this poll because of that.

Purely guessing, I would say Vernon Forrest beating the invincible, undefeated, P4P #1 Shane Mosley by a wide margin, including a knockdown. That's my vote after reading all the entries on boxrec.

Does anyone have a good copy of Forrest-Mosley I btw? I'd be interested in seeing it.

You should also add Mayweather's demolition on Arturo Gatti to that list. It was a masterclass of boxing by PBF that night.

i had to pick hopkins-trinidad because hopkins was widely seen as the underdog that trinidad was going to blowout the water, at least that is what the so called experts and the majority of boxing fans thought. and it was the exact opposite, hopkins put on a masterful performance dominating the whole fight until ko, he destroyed trinidads will, his heart, and desire inside the ring when hopkins was supposed to be the one who was to get destroyed. i had hopkins the whole way ever since the beginning of that tournament and had no doubt that he was going to win, but i didn't expect him to completely shut out and embarrass trinidad the way he did and i'm glad he did because all the people who had trinidad were all disrespectful towards hopkins saying stuff like he didn't belong in the ring with trinidad and that hopkins was nothing, and hopkins flip the script on all of those who were disrespectful.

truly a great performance, love him or hate him hopkins is and was the man....................

                    Hopkins Trinidad or Forrest Mosley

2 guys who lost with undefeated records who were p4p elite at the time
