Why Does Everyone Think Tito Will Get Knocked Out?

Roy hasn't knocked anyone out since 2002, and Trinidad was only knocked out out once EVER and he was standing at the 10/ 11 count Verse BHOP in the 12th. So why do I see alot of people predicting that Roy is going to destroy Tito?

tito has also never been hit by a light heavyweight and hasn't won a fight over a guy his size since 2002, let alone someone bigger than him in roy.

well i think its more so due to RJJ than tito. a prime RJJ would anihilate tito.

we obviously arent dealing with a prime RJJ nor a prime tito right now, so if RJJ really wants to make a statement with this fight and still has the goods to pull it off then yea i can see a KO. but its really up to RJJ and how cautious or how much he wants to use this fight to gain more rounds or to make a huge statement.

also titos been known to use the first couple rounds to warm up and feel his opponent out. if rjj handles his business from the opening bell then he can ko tito early since titos even been known to be wobbly on his feet for the first 3rounds or so.

Just seems like people are giving Prince Badi Ajamu & Anthony Hanshaw more respect then Tito? Right? If they can go the distance, what makes u think tito can't, just the size. Trinidad has fought some of the best fighters of our time.

RJJ has something left in the tank. More than enough to beat a welterweight who hasn't fought in 3 years.

Point well taken TheGR8TESTOAT, but all of those early round knock downs for Tito have been flash knockdowns, he's never suffered from any of um or stayed down more then 2/3 sec's.

Trinidad is fighting a bigger, stronger, quicker, and frankly more skilled fighter who has beaten a heavyweight. Tito hasn't been a lights out puncher since welterweight.

ok, so it seems you guys think Roy will win, but why the early Knock Out? I guess thats what bothers me, I personally think people are coming to quick conclusions.

Limited boxing skills. That's why peple predict RJJ will KO Tito.
He's not big or strong enough to be rough and tough against Roy, and he's not skilled enough to outbox and outsmart him either.
Doesn't look too good for Tito, although he might land a lucky one..
