I am course Only refering to his resume.. post Castllio.. before that Floyd has a very Nice resume...
But Boxing is a "What have you done for me lately" kind of Sport..
And his 140+ resume looks no better than Hatton's.. Both have defeated an Old but elite level fighter.. and the rest are against top 15 kind of guys.. if you tell me that is enough to make you stop reading the boards then you are a tad sesintive mate..Comment

Beating the best fighter at 154 and then becoming ring champion at 147 and beating the 2 previous undisputed champions at 147 is better than anything hatton has done in his entire career, period. and im not gonna count anything before 140, just beating de la hoya alone is better than anyone else that Hatton has fought, De La Hoya is better than Tszyu, better than Maussa, Better than Collazo, and better than Urango.I am course Only refering to his resume.. post Castllio.. before that Floyd has a very Nice resume...

If Mayweather wanted to just say I BEAT OSCAR DE LA HOYA, thats better than anything hatton has ever done, ever.Comment

You are being over emotional now BJ .. That KT was P4P number 2 at the time... and was fighting his 11th consecutive title defence and was 17-1 in tiltle fights at the time.. as well as Unified and undisputed champ..Beating the best fighter at 154 and then becoming ring champion at 147 and beating the 2 previous undisputed champions at 147 is better than anything hatton has done in his entire career, period. and im not gonna count anything before 140, just beating de la hoya alone is better than anyone else that Hatton has fought, De La Hoya is better than Tszyu, better than Maussa, Better than Collazo, and better than Urango.

To suggest that THAT is not as impressive a resume as DeLaHoyas is enough to NOT make me stop frequenting these boards.. But certainly enough to make me reconsider talking To you... You are so ****ing BIASED and twisted in your Floyd love it clouds your common sense..
Give me a ****ing beak smart ass..

Im going to break it down to you like this. If you think that somehow i am biased towards mayweather because mayweathers resume is clearly better than hattons, then why is mayweather p4p number 1? Why, why would he be there? Based on what? Why would he be passed Jermaine Taylor who is also undefeated? Why isnt Hatton number 2, or 3, or 5? WHY!?
You know why? Because the only people worth mentioning on that resume are Luis Collazo (kind of), Kostya Tszyu and Jose Luis Castillo, only ONE of whom was in their prime.
An over the hill De La Hoya beats everyone in his division STILL, who else at 154 could hang with De La Hoya right now EXCEPT maybe Vernon Forrest.
Judah, Corralles, Castillo IN HIS PRIME, Carlos Hernandez, Genaro Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Carlos Baldomir, Oscar De La Hoya and even ****ing Angel Manfredy are all the fighters who will be glanced at and remembered as being the reason as to what led to floyd being ****ing p4p for 2 1/2 years.
3 undisputed ring championships in 3 divisions is why floyds resume is better, i could say that sentence alone and be right just based on that fact.
Its dellusional on your own part to even think that beating Kostya Tszyu and Jose Luis Castillo is more noteworthy than being undpisted in not ONE division, but 3 as well as holding a belt in 5 ****ing divisions. Thats why mayweather is better resume wise.Comment

I am saying he is not as popular Not being an American and all.. so Of course NOT.. But in reality YES.. He is at least as Good... and His record is better.. His competition a little less famous.. But 17-1 in championship fights is not fighting bums..
DLH is over rated as a boxer and KT is seriously underated..
One is a celebrity the other is a BOXER.. who do think will get the higher accolades in the US press???...
Come On man... use some logic or piss off... I dont follow your slant.. can you ****ing dig it.. and more importantly can you ****ing DEAL with it???
We dont share the same opinion... Yours is absolute mine is open to debate..
Obviously when you have matured enough we can discuss this like adults.. If i want emotional responses.. I will go talk with my wife..
I dont need it from you.. cause I dont suck your hero's ****..
Give me a ****ing break..

OK now you are just twisting things around.. I said mayweather's, POST CASTILLIO, Resume is NO BETTER THAN HATTON'S.. I have openly admited his resume at 135 and lower is Sterling...
But you cant handle ANYONE saying anything bad about this ****ing insecure peice of hoodlum ****.. SO you start fishing for the same tired arguments.. You go right off topic..
You are in love with him.. I am not... get over it and seriously **** off and stop talking to me.. I dont have time for mental midgets.. who refuse to act on anything but emotion.. You act Like I am insulting you or something.. he is a Boxer.. I dont like him.. get over it.. and get over yourself..
You are worse than a religious Zealot...
I HATE FLOYD and you cant make me change my mind..

The people who have read my posts should know Im no Floyd fan, but i really feel the need to defend him sometimes:
I really want to ask the people who criticize Mayweather's resume,
Which fighter could Maywather have fought to make you guys happy???
let's see:
mayweather:
130lb- fought genaro hernandez and diego corrales-the best 2 guys available....and the very good Jesus Chavez
(only other fighter available to fight- Joel Casamayor, both guys have big egos almost impossible to make a fight between those kind of fighters, mayweather moved up in weight...Freitas was not that well regarded till mid 2001)
135lb- fought JLC and won though IMO lost the first fight clearly, he still fought great and won the second fight... against probably the best 135lb of the past era...
( Other fights available-Freitas and Casa would would fight each other and some decent but not stelar competition for less money instead of stepping up and fighting Mayweather at 135....
and JLC is a better fighter than both.........)
140lb--Hatton ducked him, Arum didnt want Cotto to face him quite yet...
147lb--he shouldnt have fought Judah, that was a joke...but he did beat the champ in baldomir....will fight Hatton now, will probably fight the winner of Cotto-Mosley...
154lb- fought Oscar De la Hoya- old man, but still a handful...
I cant see how he has taken the easy fights or he has avoided the hard fights, he fought everyone he could get a fight with....its not Floyd's fault he came in a weak era where most guys who couldve beat him are too old to do so like ODLH and Sugar Shane, who IMO would beat Floyd if they were younger...
that being said, i see Floyd as a Great but not in the level of SRR, SRL or Duran......maybe just above the modern greats,(maybe, i personally dont think so, but if he keeps winning there would be no way to prove that wrong covincingly).....
i think 154 down, the only guy who really could toy with him would be Winky Wright....and i wouldnt even consider him to fight floyd because floyd is a small guy, but floyd did call him out so put up or shut up, the shame would be on floyd if he lost to winky...Comment
