there was no pro boxing in turkey , now we have guys like samil sam , oktay urkal , firat arslan (going to fight for cruiserweight titel), mahir oral (top10),alapaslan aguzum(top 10 ) and up an coming prospects like selcuk aydin (9(8ko)-0).look for the future , turkey will produce many champs. ahmet önder has bought pro boxing to turkey.
the fighters i named are all fighters who are germany based. and there are like 2 millions turks in germany. so if boxing sets of in turkey itself.... i see good stuff in the future.

oh and also you could also say that timur ibragimov , sultan ibragimov ,ruslan chagaev , mohamed abdulaev are also turks they decend from turks.
