Floyd claims that he will go toe-toe with Hatton.

I'll believe it when i see it. He's been saying the same thing for his past 3 fights.

"He wants a toe-to-toe battle, that's what I'm going to give you on Dec. 8 if that's what you want. No problem," Mayweather said, speaking directly to Hatton at Monday's news conference at CityWalk at Universal Studios.

He wont, he said in a recent interview he will take rounds away from hatton during the first half of the fight, then move in later on.

I believe him this time. It would be wise of him to try back Hatton up early and dictate the fight, rather than letting Hatton dictate it.

And if Hatton has his way he'll have to go toe to toe.

He cant do wha he did agaisnt Baldomir and De La Hoya against Hatton. Hatton wont allow it. He's going in there with the mentality to beat Mayweather bloody head to toe. He's going to be on Floyd and he has the physical ability to the point where it's not going to be possible for Floyd to just dance around pot shot, he's either going to have to back Hatton up, or fight Hatton off him all night.

It wouldn't be the smartest thing for floyd to do.

Look what happened to Kosta Tyzu when he tried to stand toe to toe with Hatton in the later rounds of thier fight, Tyzu was in hospital for 2 days with internal bleeding and was pissing and coughing blood.

He's so full of ****. He said he would with Oscar and didn't.

I cant be arsed listening to this **** for the next 3 months! Floyd needs to just keep his mouth shut and train instead of making promises we all know he wont back up.

He says this all the time to sell tickets. Its just not his style he is a top craftsman in the ring and shouldnt even consider it.
I find hard to believe that anyone would fall for these claims again.

                    He can do either.

Floyd has always been aggressive in fighting guys his size.

But Floyd's version of "toe-to-toe" is different than what the general public perceives. In Floyd's mind, he went toe-to-toe with Corrales and Gatti.

He won't "slug". He will be a boxer-puncher with an aggressive stance.

Still, Hatton won't see the double digit rounds either way.
