I think he thinks that the public blames mayweather for the lackluster fight. So, if Hatton wins, they might put money down to have Hatton/De La Hoya. And yes, I'd pay to see that fight over De La Hoya/Mayweather II.

Mayweather really does act like an idiot, all that fake gangsta gesticulation is so ridiculous and thats exactly what Hatton is thinking in the face of that, maywaethers act is so phony and old, its not intimidating. A clown like Mayweather behaving like that in Manchester would be laughed out of town, Hatton doesnt need to be anything but himself whereas Mayweather wants to be a pseudo gansta prat. Im reminded of Tua getting up close to Lewis at the press conferences and Lewis just smiling and turning away from Tua`s stare as Tua celebrated with a scream as if he thought he had Lewis phazed lol. But Tua had a lot of dignity which is the difference.
