    Mayweather-Hatton sold out!

    Monday, September 17 2007

Tickets were gone within minutes when today's public sale of Ricky Hatton vs Floyd Mayweather tickets went on sale for the December 8 bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Thousands of Hatton fans are planning to make the trek to Las Vegas without tickets and organizers are making plans to set up closed circuit locations around Las Vegas to accomodate them.

          Money Talks... Money Talks.....

These people are already spending thousands of dollars (pounds) to see the fight... they will pay top dollar at the gate. There will be plenty of tickets passing hands.

Only thing I'm upset about is that I should have bought tickets myself.. I would probably be able to get 5x more then what I paid.

I guarantee the majoritybif not at least half of those tickets wer bought by Brits. There were 9,000 alone at Hattons last fight.

in my opinion besides ringside, the closed circuit at the Hollywood Theatre in the MGM is the way to go. Great seats, catered, open bar. A great time.

How can any genuine fan say they would buy these tickets - and not actually go?

Furthermore that they would rip off a fan who DID want to go?

Only a twat would do something like that.

Dumbass.. scalpers do it in any sport/event etc...
like I said.. its about money. Everything has a price and everything is for sale.

If you bought these tickets and went to Vegas.. and someone offered you two thousand for it.. it's all anout what it's worth to you?

Would you take the $$$ or is watching the fight means more than your free trip to vegas? You can go back to your hotel room, or any local bar, etc and watch the fight on PPV with $$$$ in your pocket.

Hey you just went to LV for free.

THERE PROBABLY HASN'T EVEN BEEN THAT MANY TICKETS BOUGHT BY THE HARDCORE FANS YET. MOST OF THE EARLY TICKETS PROBABLY WENT TO GBP SPONSORS AND MGM GRAND HIGH ROLLERS. THEN I BET GBP SOLD A LOT OF IT TO TICKET AGENCIES.
