See, I’m torn. I like both fighters but Taylor doesn’t seem “hungry” anymore. He doesn’t seem as focused as he did in the first Hopkins fight. I wonder about his motivation. Hopkins, Wright and the other guys he fought, how can you get up for a fight after the last few years? Pavlik seems hungry, he might see this as his one shot and that might motivate him. Then again, as others have written on this thread, my predictions change by the day….

Taylor is a determined guy, and Pavlik is available to be hit. Because of who Taylor has fought recently, the fact that he is a really big middleweight puncher has been forgotten. I have this gut feeling that it is going to be Taylor in an explosive knockout victory.

I think Pavlik will have a good showing and challenge Taylor, but I think in the end Taylor wins. This is the perfect fight for him to gain some respect back and I think he will. Pavlik comes forward and isn't afraid to mix it up and that will force Taylor to fight. Taylor I feel will do enough slugging to gain respect, but will still fight smart to pull out the decision win.
