Isn't Ken Burns working on a six-part BBC documentary on Amir Khan's body of work?

It's the norm to market any successful sportsman who achieves a bit of world success. incidentally, Amir Kahn, a guy who is almost unheard of outside the UK and achieved NOTHING on the world stage is a millionaire. Doesn't seem right does it?

It's an odd thing. Many Americans are Anglophiles and they are drawn to many things "British". Similarly, Many Brits have a love-hate relationship with their younger cousin, the USA.

Initially, Americans bought into the David Beckham hype. But lately, any news about Posh & Becks has been met with a huge collective yawn.

If Hatton is able to beat Mayweather, he will be widely celebrated in the US. Especially by the Americans with Anglo-Saxon roots. However, If Hatton fails to prove that he is on Mayweather's level en route to an ugly loss, he will be humiliated here stateside, and his appeal in the US market is over.

Americans have short attention spans. I guess it is the MTV-ization of America.

Remember, this is the same country that puts buildings that were built in the 1950's on its "National Registry of Historic Places".
