    Best moments in boxing

Too much negativity in boxing right now. This is a great sport and there has been a lot of great things that have and will happen.

I will start with Ali winning back his title in the "Rumble in the Jungle" when a lot of experts gave him little to no chance.

tyson winning all 3 belts becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion

roy jones jr knocking out montell griffin revenge for his loss in the first fight (DQ)

Ali knocking foreman out in their fight in africa

jones becoming the heavyweight champion by defeating john ruiz (many thought jones didn't have a chance).

tyson knocking out francois botha in his return to the ring after being suspended by the nevada state athletics for biting holyfield's both ears.

sugar ray robinson knocking out gene fullmer in their rematch, the first time fullmer ever was knocked out.

jack johnson destroying james jeffries in a fight which people were looking for a great white hope to win the title for the white race, which obviously didn't happen, jeffries was brought back from a 6 year lay off to fight johnson, but what really did more damage its that it pissed alot of people and began a race riot of whites and blacks.

joe louis knocking out schemling in their rematch.

jack dempsey destroying jess willard, knocked him down 7 times in the first round, the fight only lasted 3 rounds which jess's corner stopped it, willard suffered from damaged ribs, several teeths knocked out, bad hearing etc...it was labeled the worst beating a champion ever took.

if i can remember more i'll post.

oh..marvin hagler v.s thomas hearns, labeled as "the war", the 3 best rounds i've ever seen in a middleweight bout. hagler was absorbing hearns's punches, until in the last round hagler caught hearns with a right handed that sended hearns dancing back to the ropes and then catching him again with the right but this time hearns was down, he made the count but stumbled which led referee to stop the fight.
