It's the wood paneling in the background.

Hatton will be even less popular in the usa when he beats Mayweather. I can`t even believe people think mayweather is going to win. he is the most overrated fighter who ever existed. he nearly got knocked out by corely, should have been beaten by castillo on points and was losing against old man oscar until oscar gassed out.

Why would that make Hatton less popular? Pretty sure most in the country don't like Mayweather.

Anyway, Hatton isn't going to draw much for PPV numbers because the American public doesn't know who he is. 550k buys. A big number, but no draw dropper.

Yes because people should be surprised this is coming from a Mayweather hater?

If Mayweather beats Hatton you will continue to talk **** about him guaranteed.

Look at the guys who go north of 700K. There seems to be a "glass ceiling" there that only the very elite of commercial fighters can break. Even Oscar, during the earlier phases of his career, did a bunch of 550-600K fights. EVEN OSCAR'S FIRST FIGHT WITH MOSLEY.
Ricky isn't bringing a big US fanbase to the table.

Disclaimer: Something crazy may happen at a press conference or PBF can do great on "Dancing" and that might change the whole equation . But for now, 600K-ish (perhaps a bit less) is my best guesstimate. I have also triangulated to this figure based on their purses. That tells you what GBP/MP is thinking.

You never even saw the fight!! You are just parroting what you heard other people say.

Here is the whole round (starts at 3:00) ... Corley didn't even win that round. mayweather got hit by a clean overhand/hookish right and was buzzed for five seconds. And came back and punished Chop-Chop. He wasn't even close to being KO'd.

I'm not familiar with how the PPV sales work in the UK. If it were all combined then I'd say 700K. Mayweather's appearence on dancing with the stars will give him an all new fan base, and you know he's going to plug the fight as much as he can. And since this is billed as the biggest fight of the second half, then I'm sure all the big networks will cover it.
