You pick everyone to beat Calzaghe. Probably even picked Lacy to beat him. You just hate Calzaghe for god knows what reason.

The winner of the fight should than fight either the ring LWH champion or the ring MW champion, Hopkins or Taylor nothing else. Actually, I think Kessler would fight RJJ if he won, since they were going to fight before Cal came in.

I dont "hate" calzaghe, Prime vs Prime calzaghe beats him , but I think the 2008 version of Bute (young, quick, strong) beats the current version of him, the thing is Bute reminds me SO MUCH of Calzaghe when he was younger, just watch Bute fight and you will know what im talking about.

I thought the winner of Yusaf Mack vs. Librado Andrade (on the MAB-Pac undercard) got the Calzaghe-Kessler winner.

What would their claim be? WBC mandatory?

Can't see either Kessler or Calzaghe having much interest in taking that fight. Think they're both more likely to drop the belt than waste time on that fight.

If it has to be a mandatory, Mundine is more interesting, provided he recovers from his eye-trouble.

In either case it won't satisfy the fans OR HBO. They'll be looking for something bigger - never mind the belts.

Not to start an argument on whether it should happen or not, but Roy Jones will get the winner,he'll beat tito fairly easily and call out the winner, Bhop will price himself outand taylor will go after another (easier)SM first time out - maybe Mundine for the WBA strap so he will have more to bring to the table after a win at SM

If Taylor moves up, HE is mandatory... If he wins against Pavlik that is.

RJJ was just a negotiation twist from Palle. Not a promise that would make Kessler turn down Hopkins or Taylor, that’s for sure..
Prior to this fight, one or both camps were talking to Inkin, Mundine, RJJ, Taylor, Froch and many more.

Jones will price himself out before Hopkins. But both of them don't want a part of Calzaghe or Kessler. Both Calzaghe and Kessler are constant pressure and are fast. Roy Jones jr is fast, but he is only in spurts. Never seen Jones go a whole round throwing punches constantly. He paces himself more.

Fighting Froch or Bute are unrealistic.

Froch is a British Danny Green and both don't deserve a shot at either. Mundine is the number 3 SMW by a country mile.

The scenario will pan out like this:

Kessler wins : He fights Mudnine in Copenhagen for a big purse. He has to fight him next year if he beats Calzaghe anyway, Mandatory.

Calzaghe wins: Calzaghe will fight Hopkins at Yankee stadium. I have a feeling the fight will fall through because both fighters will ask a big portion of the pie. Then look for Calzaghe to ask Taylor to move up to super middle. Or then Calzaghe is going to fight Mundine.

This talk about Froch is an absolute disgrace. This guy is slower than my grandma, geese the British know how to overhype their fighters. Bute has a claim and is the number 4, but still a long way behind Anthony at 3.
