I've tried to tell some of these posters that Mayweather wanted to fight Hatton for his 140lbs debut but the fight was turned down. He ended up fighting Chop Chop instead.

Are you kidding me? They must be new to the sport.

Hatton has turned down a Mayweather fight at least THREE TIMES. All the while saying "i'll fight Floyd next year"... "in 2 years", etc. What other busy, active champion asks for "two to three tune-ups"??

Even Felix Trinidad doesn't ask for as many tune-ups as Hatton does. You are the current champion at that weight. WTF are you asking for tune-ups for??

As much as anyone can say about Hatton and as fat as he gets in between fights, we all know he wouldn't turn up to any fight out of shape, let alone the biggest fight of his career.
