couldnt be bothered making a thread...but

Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather are expected to sell out the MGM Grand in five minutes!

Tickets for their 'Undefeated' showdown at the Las Vegas casino go on sale on Monday, September 17, in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The December 8 WBC welterweight clash is already the hottest ticket in boxing, and Golden Boy Promotions are predicting the 16,900 seats will be sold in record time.

"With all of the United States-based boxing fans, coupled with the British fans wanting to attend this event, we have seen an unprecedented level of interest and demand for tickets and therefore, we expect an immediate sellout," said chief executive Richard Schaefer.

"This is not only a spectacular fight between two undefeated champions but it is an event that will get the entire world's attention on December 8."

Due to the popular demand - it has been said the arena could be filled twice over - and small allocation set aside for British sales, Hatton's Punch Promotions have set up a postal ballot for fans wanting to make the trip.

The Hitman has only been given 3,900 tickets - even though something close to 8,000 Britons made the trip to Vegas for his stunning stoppage of Jose Luis Castillo in June, and he had expected closer to 10,000 to be made available for UK purchase.

"The MGM Grand has been the home of so many great fights and to have the opportunity to fight Floyd Mayweather and prove to everyone who is the best boxer in the world is like a dream come true," he said.

"But it disappoints me that not all of my British fans will be able to support me inside the arena due to the low allocation of tickets for them."

    Tickets are priced at $1,000, $750, $600, $300 and $150.

WOW!!! Hatton looks huge. When he retires from boxing he's gonna look like a midget Butterbean if he doesn't get some kind of restraint. Damn!

Actually, NO. That is very unhealthy for your weight to consistantly fluctuate. It has been linked to diabetes, stroke, heart disease and cancer. Nothing about that should be considered "GREAT CONDITION" because it's actually very dangerous not to maintain a "HEALTHY" weight.

You can lift weights and look like a bodybuilder as much as you like, if your pumping ****ty and unhealthy things into your body, eating junk food constantly and fizzy drinks/alcohol, it will take its toll internally and mentally also.

Inner health is whats important, if that makes sense.
He's certainly doing himself no favors with regards to his long term health. A recent picture of Fernando Vargas shows the effects of severe weight draining before a fight. It's his prerogative though.
