Only if he does it in impressive action is the general stance that most people are taking on here. Very frustrating that a fighter gets downgraded for playing defense in the ring, and not blocking punches with his face.

I seriously doubt it. They wont acknowledge his win. They will constanly downplay him saying he is to ****y or some other lame bull****.

the reason why floyd doesnt get the credit some think he deserves,is because some think he cehrrypicks his fights.

let me ask the thread starter a question, why should he recieve more credit for beating hatton. hatton best wins are against ageing tzsuy and castillo.. dlh is much bigger the hatton.. you tell me, what does hatton bring to the table, that dlh doesnt..??

dlh had ringsize, glovesize, his mommy as judge and tried to gain every advantage possible, hatton aint gettting **** in those departments, this will be on floyds terms..

if floyd crushes hatton, i will be impressed, but if he again rollercoasts his way to a victory, then the credit he gets, wil be average, and rightly so.

he already has all the respect he is going to get, everybody knows he is a first ballot hall of famer, everbody knows that he is the best fighter on the planet..... but he will never be loved or even liked by most boxing fans or media because his attitude is intolerable, even after the fights. it seems that all the trash talk isnt to sell a fight but because thats just floyd.... like barry bonds, he is an aquired taste i guess.

imo hatton would have ko'd both castillio and corrales at any point in their careers. Hattons the best Floyd has fought imo
