    Thompson Wants Ibragimov-Holyfield Winner

Los Angeles, CA – With a mandatory world championship bout on the horizon in early 2008, Tony “The Tiger” Thompson is determined to be at his best. I like the fact that Tony's staying busy instead of 'resting on his laurels' like many others fighters in his position would do...

Thompson kicks both these guys' ass, doesnt matter who wins.

I always like it when fighters 'stay busy', even if theyre fighting just bums. Keeps them in shape, keeps their attitude and drive up...

Resting on what laurels? He's an old prospect, he's only getting one chance, he's got to be ready for it.

Who knows when this will occurr; probably not in 2007. So staying active and while making some money seems sensible to me...

hopefully he's not another Calvin Brock but I lost lot respect for Ibragimov when he chose Holyfield over Thompson. Let's see Oquendo and Savarese vs. Krasniqui and Timor Ibragimov, big difference.
