Donald Tremblay of Main Events confirmed to BoxingScene.com that Kermit Cintron (28-2, 26KOs) will indeed defend his IBF welterweight title against Jesse Feliciano (15-5, 9KOs) on the undercard to Fernando Vargas vs. Ricardo Mayorga on Nov. 23 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

When the lead promoter of pay-per-view says that a fighter, whom he also promotes, is set for their undercard, that's pretty concrete.

Feliciano looked good against Rodriquez I'll give him that. Well, not really though, he took a lot of shots to get in like he did. Too bad he wont be able to take shots from Cintron like that. Cintron by KO for sure.

Boxrec is wrong. Trust me, they get some of their dates from website articles and we were the site that broke the word on Cintron-Clottey being in the works, and they posted the date, but the fight fell through. Clottey is likely fighting Collazo, winner will get Cintron.

Thats a dumb fight.. Cintron will Ko Feliciano in the first round. Man, this is how boxers get seriously hurt. Cintron could accidently kill someone like Feliciano.
