166? That's ****ed, what is that? I thought Pavlik said he wanted to move up too? I doubt if they had a fight, it might not be for the belts, and if it is, and Taylor wins, he won't keep them cause he's not going back down to Middleweight.

If it is at a catch weight than it won't be for the title. Unless you mean the ring belt.

This article was a wonderful read, it's always good to hear someone work hard and make his way to the top to support his family.

I hope MY X-mas comes early so I can see Pavlik become the new middleweight champion.

It's always sad to hear stories like those of Jermain's childhood, but that was a long time ago, and J.T. has been given more than his share of "gifts" in the last few years. In other words...f*@k him.

Although I completley disagree with your post, I found it hilarious.

I'm pretty sure the author meant for the 'gift' to be suggested; I like how the title suggests it but he doesn't mention it in the article; clever bastard

              JT wins this fight!

Jermain wins this fight, mark my words. Jermain has been fighting a bunch of little dudes that don't belong in the middle weight division. KP is going to punch with him and that is exactly what he needs, look for the JT that fought William Joppy to be the one that shows up in AC on 9/29/07. After that bring on JC, in America the hell with going to England.

                Not even that one, actually.

Oh No!!! Finally Jermain has to fight a real middleweight and the excuses are starting to fly!! I'm still half expecting this fight not to happen. Either poor Jermain gets injured or gets hit by a meteorite while jogging. WAit!! I got it he can't make weight !!! Thats it now he can either back out at the scales or use that as an excuse why he gets his ass wooped by pavlik. Actually I believe Jermain will eventually fight legitmate middleweights as soon as he has trouble making the light heavyweight scales. He's looked lousy against jr middleweights and welterweights. But being the HBO middleweight champion causes judges to see different fights like when Spinks beat him

Taylor's Early Christmans Already Came and Went

My bet is that B-hop and Winky feel Taylor has already seen Christmas come early three times in the recent past. I say he's due for some coal in his stocking and Pavlik is the Santa who will be delivering it while Taylor is sleeping on the canvas.
