When they're both at the end of their careers, there's a chance that they might would consider fighting each other to fufill a dreram match up of the best fighters of the generation. Would this be highly discredited or pointless fight like Jones-Trinidad, who five years ago could've fought, but were at different stages in their careers?

By considering Jones and Trinidad are both LEGENDS and both are making at least 8 digits for this fight, I think Mayweather/Pacquiao would garner just as much exposure. It is true, they are at 2 different stages of their career so they might not fight anytime so. Hopefully if they do ever fight it can be at least close to their prime.
