Pavlik's defense is so underrated...I love how he blocks many shots with his gloves and also gives just enough head movement to avoid big shots. And he also mixes this defense so fluidly with his rabid attack....

pavlik looks damn good against plodders. but gets hit alot from even unranked guys.
manny is still in taylors corner and taylor swears he's going to listen to manny this time around.taylors faster,slicker, and more powerfull than anyone pavliks faced.and pavliks style is right up taylors alley.nothing here to confuse and throw off taylors game plan.but
taylors mental lapses could be a plus for pavlik.
i think people have taken too many libertys pointing out plus es about pavliks defense against opponents that stand right in front of him.

oh, and kball about my poor wording in another post on ouma being on a higher level than pavlik. i believe oumas boxing skills are alot better than pavliks but believe pavliks size,age and power would rule over smaller,older ouma.

all in all hope pavlik pulls it off.but have to lean to expierience and speed in taylor.

WHen Pavlik wants to, he shows an excellent defense. But he has a lot of lapses and he's such an offensive minded fighter that he ignores defense a lot.

And Pavlik has fought big punchers before, like Miranda, took the best shots FLUSH to the chin, and walked right through them.

Taylor cannot hurt Pavlik with a single shot. He'd have to wear down and chop down Pavlik to win, which is very very very possible.

BUT, Taylor goes to the ropes far to willingly for my liking, often doesnt go in and out like he should and will stand right in front of Pavlik which is a terrible idea. Nothing tells me he wont do it either cause hes never not done it and he says he wants to slug.

So, if he ever gets trapped in the corner, he's skrewed. Hes practically helpless of the ropes. Pavlik just needs to concentrate on wheather a heavy early storm, work the body, and he's sure to get him late IMO

Nice vid man. I'm torn on this one. Taylor is the more proven, and although not as exciting as Pavlick, he is solid. After all, If taylor was so easy to drop, let alone ko, you would think Hopkins, or Wright would have exposed that.
Most people think Pavlick is going to wear down Taylor( I just don't see Pavlick being slicker that HOPKINs or WRIGHT) That said, Taylor may come through on this one.

I'm going Taylor UD12. I think the miranda fight was a mirage. I think Taylor will show the limitations of Pavlick. Pavlicks only hope is that Taylor gases!

It will be intersting, Heres hoping Pavlick will be able to make Taylor actually stand and fight!!!!

But Hops and Wright are not big hitters.

2) What the **** is the "Great White Hope" comment about? He is a top contender (whom i'm picking to win) regardless of what color he is.
