Unofficially, word is that WBA 130lb champion Edwin Valero and WBC 126lb champion Jorge Linares could be defending their world crowns on the same card later this year in Cancun, Mexico. The probable date is November 12 with opponents hailing from Mexico. Valero is currently training in Venezuela under the direction of Professor Ortega and Linares training in Japan at the Teiken Gym. It was understood that Valero and Linares would defend their crowns in November and December, however official confirmation must arrive from promoter Akihiko Honda. Valero has been seen with regularity at the gym in Venezuela seeking to maintain good physical condition.

They are both from Venezuela and undefeated, why would they face each other? Hopefully they ****ing move to Mexico instead of fighting in Japan(wtf?).. More exposure and can give them alot more fans, Linares is the ****, his nickname is the Golden Boy, says Oscar inspires him. He gots all the tools to be the next DLH, hopefully they continue putting him on the right track.
