After watching junior witters performance tonight i'm certain he would totally humiliate feather fisted paulie. He's proberly faster than paulie and definatly hits alot harder plus he has an extremly akward style to fight against. So i see no reason why witter wouldnt box his head off all night.

Witter wouldn't be able to catch Paulie. Paulie is the best 140 pounder right now, period, end of conversation. Harris had a questionable chin coming in (remember that Maussa KO'd him) but Paulie's only KD was to Cotto, and there's no shame in that (he actually wasn't even hurt that much, just stunned for a quick second).


I'd pick Paulie over anyone at 140, including Witter and Hatton. Junior was talking **** about Paulie so maybe after he dispatches with the worthless *** Salita, he'll go crack Witter, too.

I think Witter will be awkward for Maliganaggi but perhaps Malignaggi will utilize his speed and footwork to trouble Witter, attributes which were not displayed by Vivian Harris. Not to mention Malignaggi has gone through twelve grueling rounds with hard hitting Cotto and maintained a competitve effort. If he can take it from Cotto we will definately be able to take it from Witter.

i actually think witter has more power than cotto. all paulie can do is move and jab and witter dont get hit with jabs. paulie would be forced to throw some combinations leaving himself open for a devastating witter counter.
unless paulie runs all night i dont see him going the distance.

I think this fight would be ****ing brilliant.

Witter is slick and awkward - but i wonder how he'd look when put under the pressure of Mallignaggis speed.

I hope the wheels start turning on this one - it'll propell Witter onto the Yankee stage also.

I hope Witter-Malinaggi doesnt happen, it would be an absolute stinker. Both like to react and are counterpunchers, they would just stand there waiting for the other to lead-off, like in Corley-Witter. Witter needs to fight an aggressor, as we have seen today and vs Ndou this brings out the best of him. He should fight WBO champ Torres, that would be a entertaining fight.
