WITTER-HARRIS Round-by-Round???

Your not the only one. He's such a prick. You know the Doncaster Dome is only 10 minutes drive from my house.
i felt sorry for Harris.. but only when the commentator said "Vivian Harris has been here in Doncaster all week!". Haha, then the poor **** got knocked out. I wonder where they put him up. haha.
Witter looked ok.. he wasn't as boring as he usually is. I must say though - he took some dodgy shots of an old man... if Witter thinks he could take clean shots of Hatton like that, he must be ****ing crackers.
After watching that, i definatly think two things. Hatton would kill him and a Mallignaggi match up (with his speed and constant upbeat tempo, and heavy punching output) would make a ****ing brilliant fight for Witters counter punching. Get that motehr ****er set up pronto i say.Comment

Disagree. When Witter turned southpaw his jab and left hook was causing Harris problems, don't forget Harris is supposed to be a big hitter and although Witter retreated from some of those shots didn't look truly hurt. Hatton would get countered A LOT and would have trouble with Witter's slick style. Hatton would be fave and I think he'd just shade a SD but it's a fight that wouldn't end early.Your not the only one. He's such a prick. As for Malignaggi, that's a fight that I'd like to see. Hatton will be busy over the next few months so a Witter/Malignaggi fight for early next year sounds great. If Paulie beats Njgougo first.Last edited by HeysusChristus; 09-07-2007, 04:59 PM.Comment

Hopefully Witter will forget about Hatton and try and unify the division, a fight with Rees could made pretty easily if Rees gets through his next one. I can see Hatton vs Witter being made for next year at Wembley/Man City, aslong as he keeps his mouth shut and gets on with the job.Comment

Well dammit! I disagree with you!
I reckon Witter was hurt, there was 2 or 3 occassions when i was up of my seat jumping up and down swearing. He looked dazed and upset - IMO. I thought he was hurt... but thats my opinion. You can't disagree that he wasn't definately taken a back by being caught by some of those punches.
However - i will admit.. that Witter unorthadox stances, his frequency to bob, weave and slip could make him look MORE offbalance when the punches connected.
I still maintain that i thought Harris maintained a punchers chance throughout the scrap. He gave Witter some grief which he could have capitalised upon better. But Witter was definately too slick.
What you think about a Witter vs Mallignaggi then? You not interested?
Edit: I'll reaffirm... i thought he was hurt once. Dazed and taken a back maybe once or twice more. My post makes it sound like Harris had Witter wobbling - which he didn't.Comment

There was nothing suprising, really.
Malignaggi would beat him because he wouldn't initiate (and would catch Witter off-balance), Hatton is the better technician and has much better balance, and Rees would get beat up.Comment
