Bernard Hopkins is 42, what's your point?

There is a HUGE difference between the two. Kostya was just coming back after a lengthy layoff due to injuries where Hopkins stays in top shape and wasn't off nursing injuries.

      Terrible comparison, SHAME ON YOU!!!

Okay then, De La Hoya is 34 and has fought three times in three years.

Kostya an extremly successful return to the ring against Mitchel.
He proved he was fit and still a great fighter, maybe not in his prime, but still a real threat to Hatton.

I dont think any injuries were a factor in his defeat against Hatton.

Its a shame Witter is still so desperate for a Hatton fight.

Hatton didnt, and doesnt need Witter.

mitchel has not been the same since his first fight with kostya which was a close fight that he lost due to the knee injury he sustained in the fight

Tszyu is a lightweight-class fighter. Hopkins turned pro at light-heavyweight.

If you don't understand that smaller fighters age faster than bigger fighters, then I would be glad to take this discussion offline and explain it to you. No charge.

There is a very short list of lightweights who have still been effective at 36. In fact, I have said repeatedly that i am expecting Shane to "grow old overnight" for any of his next fights.

And Mitchell subsequently showed what he had left in his fights with FMJ and P-Dub.

BTW, how has Kostya Tszyu been doing? Ya know...since he still had alot left in him.

Witter should quietly go and watch a tape of his performance against Judah.

You do know that Witter took that fight on a much shorter notice than Hatton took the Collazo fight. I heard both looked like **** in those fights.
