I think that has something to do with him fighting a Hopkins that hasn't lost to anyone outside of Taylor himself in 13 years.

        WTF?

But on a different note this fight is quite intriguing. I just cant pick a winner. Taylor has world class skills despite not putting them on display recently and Pavlik just isnt proven enough in my book yet (against boxers).
You can't read. It was written in a Gonzo writing style made famous by Hunter S. Thompson. Hence the title.

TK, I hate to get on you a second time, but what's this 'wop' business? Your column reads like one of my Thunderdome threads, but without the poetry

When was the last time taylor stopped anyone? He was backed up by a smaller Ouma and even when landing flush on Ouma, he walked right throughit and kept coming. If Pavlik backs him up and puts him on th ropes, he is gonna have to have Manny pick him up off the canvas. You know Pavlik has a solid chin as well. Anyone who can take flush shots from Miranda andkeep coming, has to have a strong chin. Othe than that I love your AVTAR man. Who is that?

he couldn't stop Spinks, and Zab almost had him out in the first fight and sent him to sleep in the second.

I see the difference being Pavlik's seriously heavier hands. Taylor will be surprised by Pavlik's power, to the point where he looses his game plan and his lack of discipline will show when he fails to respond to Stewart's repeated calls for adjustments.

Sure Taylor's got raw skill and can throw accurately and in combo, but he's gotta land flush to get Pavlik's attention and then he's goptta keep throwin' some more. That ain't gonna happen. Taylor won't stay busy enough and won't be willing or able to dance around outside all night long, which is what he must do to keep Pavlik's heavy hands off him. So, Pavlik get's inside easy by the mid rounds and slips Taylor's attempt to tie him up, ****s him hard on the ribs a few times and goes staright for the head with success.

That's why my $ are on Pavlik.

My only concern, and it's a big one, is Pavlik's tendency (actually it's more like a deadly habit) of leavin' his hands so ****in' low (ala Calzaghe).
