Who cares about Joppy or Vargas. Joppy ran around the ring when taylor tried to ko him. Anyone who has any kind of decent power would ko either of those two. Thats why I still am picking mayorga to ko vargas. Vargas probably could have been a great fighter at one time, but he was rushed too quickly. Plus, the steroids he took obviously didn't help him out. More power(thats why he was juicing probably because he felt weak) doesn't fix that he can't take getting hit by the elites.

I agree, Cotto could have the better career but he could never be as popular as Tito, that isn't something may people can do really. This is the only fight that I really am not sure who will win, there are to many factors involved, it's hard to decide, I think experience will prevail over youth though.

Trinidad-Vargas did 520K buys and Trinidad-Joppy did 350K buys. ALOT of people cared enough to buy those fights, and Tito put on a great show in both.

The point isn't that Tito beat them, It is HOW Tito beat them on a huge stage. This discussion was about Trinidad's popularity, and I just wanted to highlight why/how people loved him so.
