That's kind of how I feel. I wish there was someone out there that could bust Floyd's ****yness right off but, sadly, nobody out there has a chance (below 160, that is).

I think Hatton has got the quickness to work his way inside without getting tagged too often. Hes much faster than he gets credit for and can throw faints and cover up well. He will approach this fight like Castillo did to PBF in their 1st fight and how Hatton broke down Kostya Tszyu. He will use his speed to get inside and continuially work Floyd to the body in between clinches.

Castillo 1 and ODh show that floyd is not invincible if you get in close, rough things up and don't tire..

Seen most of the Gatti fight.....no way is Hatton is going to fight like that..People who compare that fight to what will happen in this fight know jack about boxing..

Get in close, attack the body, close down the space , take some shots...to give some, hold abit, a few low blows when required, push PBF back upright...(don't let him do all that ducking weaving malarky) keep moving those feet looking for gaps..and never stop for 12 rounds solid...

Hatton has a better chance than most....

          Vernon Forrest can do it.

I believe I know quite a bit of boxing and I believe Hatton has a 5% chance of winning this fight (and I'm being generous). That 5% includes, but is not limited to:

            1. Floyd getting injured as he comes into the ring
            2. A headbut causing a cut on Floyd but the ref doesn't see it and calls it a punch
            3. Someone poisoning Floyd
            4. Roger entering the ring again and Floyd getting DQ'd
            5. Martians landing their space ship right on Floyd in the 5th round.
            6. A humanitarian food drop meant for Somalia somehow drifts half-way around the world and lands on Floyd while he's fighting, and...
            7. Floyd hits Hatton so hard that he bounces off the ropes (a la WWF) and comes back, hitting Floyd with a clothesline and then DDTing his ass.

Other than those scenarios, I really can't see Ricky winning this fight.

He's the one that has the best chance, but I don't even think Vernon would end up beating Floyd. I give Vernon a good chance, tho, maybe even a 40% chance.

                ....
Now let's think: Are there any similarities between the two fights you just listed? Hmmmm...

Hint: They were both much bigger fighters (who are also complete fighters) while PBF was moving UP in weight. Floyd was fighting at a new weight in both those fights.

What happened in the second Castillo fight? Do you have any doubts about what would happen in a FMJ-DLH rematch?
                See what I mean?

Against Hatton, PBF will be fighting a guy roughly his own size, who happens to be slower and less skilled. I guess that I don't see the comparisons at all.

AYFCM? Translation: Are You ****in Crazy, Man? Hatton WILL NOT drop Castillo, not even in his wildest dreams. That man has an iron chin and Hatton doesn't have enough power to hurt Castillo

I see this as more like how is PBF gonna lose this fight, rather than how is Hatton gonna win it. We all know what Hatton's gonna do, but can he substain it, If PBF doesn't take him seriously, carries on with this dancing ****e and then decides to go macho and stand infront of him and swap punches, then he might throw the biggest fight of his life away. However if he takes it seriously and trains right, and boxes then Hatton don't stand a chance. Here's hoping he does the former, because while I admire and respect his ability, the bloke is a complete nob jockey.

The most important thing in fighting Floyd is distance control. Getting close enough to hit, but avoidingthe counters. Oscar was able to control distance to a degree because he has a much longer reach, and he is quick-handed. Judah was able to do it early because he is so fast with his hands. And is a southpaw. Notice that the guys who his Floyd the hardest are speedy southpaws: Corley and Judah. Even Sharmba landed.

A guy with very long reach and quick hands is a tough fight for Floyd. Especially one with Vernon's power. Vernon would have alot of confidence, he usually fights a smart fight (ex-mayorga), he seemed to have his stamina back after the Baldomir fight, he's finally healthy again, and he has solid defense.

I agree that Viper has a very good shot at The Floyd.
