    Better Defense

    Do you prefer

The block every shot defense of Winky Wright?

    OR

The duck and slip every shot defense of Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

It's better to slip and not get hit at all if you can do it obviously, your not getting hit on the gloves or arms or shoulder and your in a better position to counter.

I dont like Wright's defense it would never work without those oversided gloves.

the key to Wright's defense is his jab obviously as it is with alot of other standup type fighters, alot of European fighters.

I agree that Floyd's is better for counterpunching.

But Winky has never been hurt... ever to my knowledge.

Floyd was hurt against Corley, and got caught big against Judah, but seemed to take it well.

Wright should call his style the 'Phalanx'.
