I think it's a ploy. He wants Pacman to win, so they can squeeze more money out of him. If the aging champ wins, it COULD hurt Pacmans selling power, and overall earnings, which the WBC gets a hold of. The younger fighter with the biggest upside is who they root for. So, they try to trick Marco into fighter aggressively to prove something, and that's not in his best interest in this fight. Just a theory.. but, I think, a good one.

The sport is called boxing not street fighting. If barrera does outbox manny than he deserves to win. The plan is to hit and not be hit, isn't that what boxing is about.

Jose the ****head should focus on counting score cards and training WBC judges on how to score fights. I'm not really a Big Barrera fan, but he shouldn't be so vocal about this sort of ****.

I think Barrera has always been on the end of some unfair treatment from the w.b.c. I remember reading something a few years ago (in Ring magazine) about Barrera not being invited to some w.b.c. event when he one of their champions, but good-old Jose made sure that Morales was there.

So I am not surprised to read this, but I find it disturbing in terms of a bias against Marco.
