Joe Calzgahe and Mikkel Kessler's huge super-middleweight unification fight will be screened live on American TV network HBO, it was confirmed today.
Calzaghe and Kessler met face to face today for the first time since agreeing to put their Ring, WBO, WBA and WBC world titles on the line on November 3 at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
The pair attended a New York press conference, along with their respective promoters and Ross Greenburg, president of HBO Sports.
"I can't wait for November 3 when I will get the chance to prove I am the best super-middleweight in the world," said Calzaghe.
"HBO have been involved in some great fights recently, but I think this will be the fight of the year, anywhere in the world.
"This is the fight I've wanted above all others, and when I beat Kessler it will help cement my legacy.
"He's a good fighter and I've got a lot of respect for him, but I showed how good I was against Jeff Lacy, and I plan to put in a similar performance against Kessler."
Both fighters are unbeaten, but at 29 Kessler is six years younger than Calzaghe and feels it is his turn to take over at the top of the super-middleweight division.
"It's a dream come true," said Kessler. "I have so much respect for Calzaghe, but I believe I will win.
"I would have loved to have had the fight in Denmark, but sometimes you have to be prepared to travel to get what you want, and I am happy to be coming to Wales."
Greenburg, who will oversee the third HBO broadcast of one of Calzaghe's fights, added: "We are delighted to be involved in this show.
"It pitches together the two best super-middleweights in the world, and the two best looking fighters as well!"
As well as being shown live on HBO, Calzaghe-Kessler will also be broadcast live in the UK on Setanta Sports, who have signed a multi-fight deal with Frank Warren's Sports Network organisation.
Details of an action-packed undercard will be announced in the next few weeks, while Calzaghe and Kessler will meet the British media on September 10 in Cardiff.
