David Reid

Was this guy ever any good? I know he won a gold medal in the 96 olympics, and then racked up a small undefeated record. Then he lost to Felix Trinidad. That was pretty much the end of his career.

I was watching FSN's Nothing but Knockouts (I know, it's shameful) and I saw Sam Hill knock David Reid out. God he looked bad in that fight. Anyone have the word on how good he was, if he beat anyone decent or anything like that?

he had a lazy eye, that is about all i remember about him. i remember he won a UD against a guy which he did a chicken dance in the last round ie (almost got koed)

oh yeah, he was good, he gave tito a good good run for his money. He was on the downfall though after the trinidad fight. but he was a good solid fighter.

he didnt have the legs to go 12 rounds was what i remember most
like he reminded me of a roy jones that gained tons of muscle than had to lose it all

How the **** did that happen?

I know Trinidad was down once, and Reid down 4 times... but that still leaves 2 points unaccounted for for Roth and Christodoulou, and 3 unaccounted for for Ford.
