Anyone Excited About Premiere of Contender Tonight?

I'm actually pretty excited about tonight's premiere episode (10 pm eastern I believe). I think the increase in talent level will really help make this season a good one. Showing the full fights is another good addition to this year's version. I was listening to Adam Carolla's weekly morning radio show and he mentioned that he will be appearing in tonight's episode. He said he was contacted by ESPN to participate in an episode or two. He also said what a thrill it was to meet Buddy McGirt whom he was a big fan of as a fighter. I can't wait for tonight, should be good.

Would be, if it wasn't because I have to wait far to long before it's televised in Denmark.
But with solid fighters among them, I am curious about the results.

Kind of worried Stallone and company screw it up. I hope they dispensed with the sound effects too.

To answer the thread question: No, I'm not excited at all. "The Contender" tries to make boxing something that it's not, by editing the fights. Sorry, but I'm not interested in watching "Rocky-esche" fights...

No need in this, if I feel like watching a cheezy "boxing" show I will watch any of the Roy Jones entrances.
