I'm actually pretty excited about tonight's premiere episode (10 pm eastern I believe). I think the increase in talent level will really help make this season a good one. Showing the full fights is another good addition to this year's version. I was listening to Adam Carolla's weekly morning radio show and he mentioned that he will be appearing in tonight's episode. He said he was contacted by ESPN to participate in an episode or two. He also said what a thrill it was to meet Buddy McGirt whom he was a big fan of as a fighter. I can't wait for tonight, should be good.

To answer the thread question: No, I'm not excited at all. "The Contender" tries to make boxing something that it's not, by editing the fights. Sorry, but I'm not interested in watching "Rocky-esche" fights...
