Britbulldog - I'll have a wager with you on that if you want. I know you've only just joined, but if he doesn't win any as I said then you give me 500pts, and I'll give you 1000pts for every belt he wins. How's that?

Evander has been equating his personal glory with God's grace for a long time now.. Weird ****..

If God really wants to help he'll send us a few worthy Heavyweights.

          Holyman
          is not good
          anymore
          he wont beat
          a man like
          the champ
          he couldnt beat
          briggs who
          I thought would
          unify
          Holyman should go
          to bed now
          I love heavyweights best
          but what do i think
          of the champ
          and the other
          russians?
I am not ready to accept
          them
          i wish Brewster
          would have
          beat the champ
          again

Yea no ****, that's part of why I don't like him anymore. I never support an athlete who attributes his success to supernatual causes

He has worked hard to get where he is at and deserves respect for the things he did. He obviously didn't just sit back and wait for miracles to happen. If religion is his thing then good for him, but he has done great things and worked very hard for it.

If I boxed I would look up to Holyfield for his dedication and heart.

You're right homie, I was being a hater. But I just don't like to have to hear it in the post-fight interviews. If there were a god, he wouldn't give a **** who wins the fight. The religion's fine for some people but I personally prefer those people keep it to themselves

I can't agree with that, prime Holyfield held his own against fighters like Lewis, Tyson, Bowe, and Moorer. He would defeat Maskaev with ease.

                      Real Deal

Well........Evander has won a "belt" 30 times.. or at least 30 different belts or defended and retained "A" belt 30 times. No mean feat!
                      The most recent?..
A USBA heavywieght title belt with a win over Frez Oquendo..
                      So to qualify the question

                      1) how many "Real" belts has he won so far?? 4??
(all the following are IMO and bear in mind....I'm drunk!)

                      Well lets see....(cruiser belts aside)

                      #1
beats a blown up fat ass buster douglas...this is (IMO) a real belt win.
Its not his fault that after the greatest win in boxing for a **** of a long time Buster comes in looking like Rosie Odonald after a 3 week chocolate fondue party. (WBC WBA IBF)

Defends agains Foreman,Cooper and Larry Holmes!
but these somehow don't count for **** since he already had the belt???
                      I don't get it!

OH I see!! you have to Lose the belt first so you can RE capture it so it counts?? Ok lose it to rid**** bowe and then gets it back Ok we all agree??

                      So thats #2!

Now..since he loses to Micheal Moorer (1994) and then wins it back in 1997
(WBA IBF) thats gotta be 3!

Now.. he beats the **** out of Tyson TWICE! (remember.. the baddest man on the planet who people were afraid would KILL evander after the Spinx 90 sec fight?) Thats GOTTA count for one! so what are we at?? 4?

a Lennox Lewis win would have for sure been #5 (but he lost)

                      The rest? John Ruiz (WBA)
                      Larry Donald (NABC)
and the latest Frez Oq (USBA) don't count for crap..

BUT!!! I would give him one for the win over RAY MERCER! to make it #5

Merciless ray mercer!!! had a head like punching a fire hydrant!

SO....can he do anything against the current crop that would count as a "legitimate" credit for #5 (or #6 for me)..........................no
sad to say...........no..... he can't do it anymore......
could be beat some one who has a "belt" sure maybe....
So here's my question to you all......
Which fighter to would Evander have to beat to earn him credit for one more "CHAMPIONSHIP" belt? regardess of belts currently held or not held. I respectfully await your submissions
