Who wants to put points on this fight, Taylor is going to tear Pavlik's ass up.

i cant wait for this fight. Jermain Taylor is one of my favorie fighter and he is going to prove everybody wrong come september 29th. He is a much better fighter then kelly pavlik and will win the fight whether its boxing or slugging. Pavlik will hit the deck once during the fight on the way to a TKO loss.

LMFAO, you actually think that the PILLOW PUNCHER Jermaine Taylor will knockdown the Iron Chinned Kelly Pavlik.

Taylor probably can't even knockdown Rey Bautista.

neither fighter has been dropped to my knowledge.

but seeing either one down will kinda be a shocker.

sure Taylor beat Hopkins twice, but B-Hop pretty much pissed the first fight away due to his limited activity the first 7 rounds.

I dunno where JT's killer instinct went .. his last 2 opponents were naturally smaller men who as talented as they were realistically had zero chance to win.

come on was Kassim Ouma seriously going to hurt JT coming up from 154? not just hurt, but win the fight. no way.

and Spinks despite a split decision loss .. only landed 85 total punches.

Taylor is facing an actual Middleweight who has an inch on him in height. I want to see how he'll react to it .. especially considering Pavlik at least has the ability to slug it out ... where that wasn't possible with Spinks & Ouma.

I think they have both been down.

Im sure Pavlik has been, not sure about Taylor. But with Taylors chin how could he NOT have gone down? Wright, Hopkins, and Spinks have all hurt him

who knocked Taylor down then? jut wondering

Spinks didn't hurt him .. Taylor just didn't wanna fight really, cuz Cory was too slick for him.

what do you mean "with Taylor's chin" sure he's been hit pretty good, but until you can prove other wise, I don't think JT has ever been dropped.

If Pavlik can lure him into a brawl, thats his best chance.

But this isn't a PPV fight, Taylor doesnt have to sell anything...

And hes done plenty of times before, so he's definetly gonna do it this time. He doesnt even have a choice, Pavliks style is gonna force him to.

.....Your right and I don't see any way that this fight won't be electric. Taylor is going to be forced into doing something he hasn't had to do in a long time. Actually fight and defend himself from an offensive onslaught. I think Taylor may just step up and surprise more than a few people by going to war. Really he has no option other than pulling out of the fight.

I know Pavlik personally. He has been down by zuniga. but it was almost rulled a slip. everyone said zuniga was a nobody but he is proving now that he is somebody in the division. Pavlik will throw too many power shots for jt period. end of story, dont argue it. its the bottom line. every punch pavlik throws can ko you. if jt gets on the ropes and wants to slug its lites out for jt.

he has a point, hopkins runs around and throws 1 punch per round then clunches, spinks is a runner, and wright's style is awakard...this should be a good fight

The doubters for JT will dwindle after his victory on the 29th, he has had some bad matchups but you will see come the 29th how he will come out blazing and ready to prove his worth.
