Exactly. Nuthuggers aren't the type of people to go halfway around the world and sing songs throughout the fight. They don't follow boxing, they follow winners, which is why the guys with the most vocal (read "lmaoooooo pwn") fans tend to wind up with none at all the first time they come unstuck.

Edison Miranda was a recent example. Jeff Lacy is another.

Hit the nail on the head there mate. Nuthugging is just a flavour of the month club, their support evaporates as soon as their fighter gets their arse handed to em. The number of Miranda pics in sigs and avatars has rapidly diminished since the pavlik fight.

Thats why i can't understand people calling hatton fans nuthuggers, he'll be just as strongly supported regardless of the outcome on dec 8th, and to the guy who said there will be a morbid atmosphere after the fight, i gaurantee that win lose or draw the travelling brits will be still be singing hattons name.

I think its mayweather at min, but paul williams has the potential for supreme future nuthuggery.

If that's your definition of nuthugger I don't consider myself one. My top 3 fighters all take a lot of criticism and I stick with them through all of it. I've been a Hopkins and Floyd fan for a long time. Floyd or B-Hop is always in my avatar. Along with Taylor.

nowadays you cant go on ANY Barrera, Marquez, or Morales Highlight or fight on youtube without some ***** posting some dumbass comment like "what happened to Morales? oh yea he probebly quit after Pac kicked his ass so bad LOLlerbladez Im a ***got" or something of the sort. then you even got biased ass writers waiting for Pac to do something abnormal like play rock paper scissors without them deciding to write about it and call it a reflection of his training camp.
