    Is Hatton underestimating Floyd's strength?

HATTON: "I don't think he's the biggest fighter in the world. I don't think he's got much physical strength. When I went to see him fight Gatti, I saw him at the weigh-in and asked myself the question whether or not he was big enough or tough enough to hold me off for 12 rounds. And that'll be the big question once the fight comes along."

MAYWEATHER FOR THE GATTI FIGHT (5/28/05):

MAYWEATHER TWO YEARS LATER FOR THE DELAHOYA FIGHT (5/4/07):

In the past two years, Mayweather has fought increasingly bigger men: Sharmba Mitchell, Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir and Oscar Delahoya. FMJ has been sparring with Kofi Jantuah (MW), Michael Melvin (MW) and Daniel Edouard (SMW).

Does Hatton have the right outlook and gameplan? IF Ricky finds that Floyd is much stronger than he expected, can Hatton shift to a "Plan B"?

Please share your opinions. Thank you.

Floyd is strong and tougher then what most people think. Hatton won't be as strong. I can't wait for this fight.

        I definately think so.

You saw the kind of power he could produce in his early 140 fights (which is a good test, because he is fighting someone coming up from 140). Also, he knocked Sharmba Mitchell out with a body shot, who was just coming up from 140. Mayweather busted Judah up pretty badly... but then he fought two of the best chins in boxing in Baldomir and De La Hoya, which has created rumors that Mayweather is about as powerful as Malignaggi, which just isn't true. I think he is going to hurt Hatton more than once in this fight, and suprise a lot of people in doing so.

yeah i think they're both underestimating eachother
ricky doesnt think floyd is that strong and he is going to be surprised when he feels floyd's strength
floyd doesnt realize how ackward hatton is going to be in his attack but even with that i still see floyd outboxing and out thinking hatton and ultimately winning the fight

I don't think Hatton is underestimating his power or strength, Hatton is cleverer than a lot of people give him credit for. I think it's a ploy to get PBF to try and stand there and fight with him, as Hatton knows that's his only way of winning the fight, because PBF would outbox him all night long.

Hatton has been watching Floyd for years and knows exactly what he can and can't do.He is not under-estimating him he knows the fight will be as tough as the one against Tszyu if he wants to win it.
