^^ So true. It was hard to watch that fight, for me, only because it was not long after I SERIOUSLY started to follow boxing, and being that I didn't know much about either guy's history, but I knew the fight was very meaningful for their division I watched, rooting for Lacy. Then I realized that to be a fan of this sport you have to set yourself up for disappointment.

This fight, now that I think about it, could be a great event considering both men have had HUGE losses recently (although in Lacy's case not really recent) and they both need a win, and one over the other would be a big boost for their careers.

Somebody will be unconscious at the end. I hope this happens.

I'd take my boy lacy to beat miranda. Lacy has the better power and the better technique of punches. I think if miranda was hurt by pavlik then lacy would seriously hurt him. In mirandas defence he also has huge power but lacks dicipline and only has one hand and thats his right and against a fighter who overwhelms you like lacy i think your going to need more than that to beat him.

i don't know why lacy's chin is suspect... dude took a lot from calzaghe and didn't get knocked out. he finally fell down in exhaustion.

i think it would take a sam peter punch to put lacy down in 1 shot. i'm not saying edison couldnt KO lacy but it wouldn't happen in 1 shot. going the other direction- i think lacy could probably KO miranda in a punch.

i would predict lacy to take this win

Sounds like a great idea for Showtime in December as a co-feature to Margarito-Cintron...but with the promoters involved that won't happen.

Well, I say that, but Arum did allow Miranda-Green to go off on one of his HBO cards, so who knows...
