That is the most arrogant and gorgeous KO i've ever seen. I know there are more brutal KOs but have there been any more arrogant ones ?

Arrogant, no way. Flashy, I doubt it.

The Jones TKO of Paz wasn't really arrogant, it was more brutal.

That is one of my favorite fights to toss in the DVD player

It was a brutal fight but Paz did very well and showed a lot of quickness himself.

I think Paz was just undersized but had the right idea of how to beat Roy and if he had been a bit bigger he might have been Roy Jones Joe Frazier that night.

Another great Jones Ko was VS Bryant Brannon.

Brannon had a lot of hype coming into the fight and had promos about after he had been shot by someone he got up and beat the man who just shot him.
just a big story about how tough he is and all.
Again once Roy and Brannon got in the ring you could see a big size difference and the problem with that is that Brannon fought as a slugger.

He was fighting someone who was a lot bigger and much much much faster and never really had a chance to get at Roy.
Roy knocked him down right away in the first round and pot shot him until the 2nd when Brannon was out on his feet.
Roy has Brannon in a corner pounding away and then stops turns to ref and tells him to stop the fight before he hurts the man .
The ref tells Roy that he can't so Roy shrugs his shoulders and attacks Brannon with countless unanswered shots to end the fight.

I always rooted for Bryant Brannon and kept track of him in boxing mags ect, after that.

and to think there's actually some people on here who discredit Roy Jones Jr's place in history, **** is sad because as said on here who else has done that? past or present who has put both thier hands behind thier back, crouch low, move his head and pop back up with a hook that ends the night right there and then, who else? he epitomized the art of hitting and not getting hit better than probably most in history and even though he is no longer invincible for the time that he was he did some once in a lifetime ****, I don't think we going to see a knockout like that again, not saying it was against a top fighter in Glenn Kelly but it still takes A LOT of ability to finish a fight like that no matter who you fighting, Roy Jones Jr in my book will always be an all time great, he earned that spot.. 100

Prime RJJ was a ****in genius in the ring. The more of his old fights i watch, the more i am impressed.

It's a shame he didn't fight Eubank, Benn and Calzaghe in his prime, that would have really cemented his legacy.

Benn and Eubank ducked him, but Roy avoided Calzaghe a bit, i think thats the only guy Roy has avoided, Michelszewski, Hopkins, Benn and Eubank all ducked Roy....

I would love for Roy to end his career in a Calzaghe fight, let's say Roy beats Tito and Calzaghe beats Kessler. Should the fight with Hopkins fall through (fingers crossed it doesn't) then I'd love to see Roy beat Calzaghe and ride off into the sunset with his legacy in tact.

I remember a quote from Hopkins in the Ring saying "If Jones goes overseas, i f he goes over to England and knocks Joe Calzaghe out, he's the man again." God that ****'d be unbelieveable. Most likely won't happen, but a man can dream.
