I agree with you, that would be his best play.

How good is Joachim Alcine, and what kind of a fighter is he?

I think he is in Ghana opening a hospital and helping his country....I guess he is taking his time. He didn't fight this year so expect him to come back until 08

wow really? that sounds really nice of him, he kind of *****ed a lot after he lost fights, but thats very admirable, sounds like a great thing to do. thanks for the info.

Im kind of surprised that everyone is hyping Forrest, as Quartey pretty clearly beat him about what? a year ago now? If youre hyping up Forrest, give Ike some credit

Cory Spinks has the IBF Light Middleweight belt (I think, I don't know if he vacated it).
Joachim Alcine has the WBA Light Middleweight belt.
Sergei Dzinkziruk has the WBO Light Middleweight belt.

Spinks has the bigger name, but has lost 4 times. He also would have problems trying to outbox Spinks, because that is what Spinks does.

Alcine and Dzinkziruk are both undefeated, and relatively unproven. I haven't seen either fight (yes I missed the Alcine vs. Simms fight).

Since 154 is kind of a ****ty division, there aren't really any big names that don't have titles, so I think his best play is unifying a title.

              Who should he fight?
I think Forrest beats alcine and dzinkziruk. and he can beat spinks, but no easy task.. technical fight.

The slickest of the slick. When I think pure boxer, those are the two that come to mind (Spinks and Forrest).
