Well, in Britain, nobody knows this De La Hoya outside of hardcore, die-hard boxing fans. I don't know about America, but I'd imagine Tyson??

I know De La Hoya has that huge Hispanic following, doesnt he?

Actually a lot of Hispanics don't really like him. He is viewed as sort of a traitor, or at least I have been told. I haven't dug very deep into the subject.

I just asked the question because these two have the top 5 PPV sales between the two of them (all top 5 fights involve one of them).

Depends on perception. There are rabid Tyson fans who's pay PPV money to see him fight anybody. But on the whole I'd go with Oscar due to the fact that he's still at a solid performance level, and never choked in his career the way Tyson did.

With that said, I gotta get on the road now. I'll check this out tomorrow when I come back.

I think tyson is, even though I enjoyed tyson fighting but I find it horrible tyson's fans make horrible excuses up why he lost to holyfield, lewis, and so on. I hate tyson fans, they're the worst. I don't hate tyson, I believe he's a better guy then people are willing to admit, meaning he's not a total jack ass like the media wants you to believe. Yes, he has problems obviously when he bites a mans ear off, but I believe were all a little screwed up in the head. But his fans are so ****ing annoying, that I really wouldn't like to meet one of his rabid fans in real life because they would just suck on his **** all day long. Shut up and stop making excuses for his losses.

                    de la who?

Internationally de la hoya is a nobody - he only became slightly famous this year with the Mayweather DLH fight getting a bit of exposure in the UK.

Tyson was one of the most famous sportsmen on the planet, he's only behind Ali in current fame.
