Fan favorite Emanuel Augustus is back in action Friday Aug. 31 as he takes on junior-welterweight Sergey Sorokin in Russia. LISTEN in as Augustus talks about the full training camp he has undergone in preparation for the fight, his plan to score a knock out, and more!

Emanuel Augustus: “I do feel like I’ve got to knock this guy out to get the win over there in Russia. A few people have dropped hints in my ear that I’m not going to win a decision over there, but hey, that’s not a new story for me.

"I have a lot of weapons at my disposal, and this is going to be my 70th professional fight. I have a lot of professional experience and I’m going to show that in this fight.”

and that was before the fight

Yea it was in the guys hometown, where theres a definite history of fishy decisions.

Maybe he did get dominated though, i wanna know what happened. Maybe it is time to hang 'em up. Especially if he really did train that hard. Cause the old Augustus, when he was trained hard and focused he was one of the toughest fighters to beat.

He looked great destroying Burton again, but i thought the Diamond fight was more of a "he just couldnt get past that rocket jab" then a "hes a shot fighter"

I love the guy, and id love to hear about this fight
