Ha, the guy with Castillo as his picture is calling out other people for being interested in "shot" fighters.

Mitchell was originally supposed to fight Luis Collazo on this card so that is why it's in this thread. Anyways, what business is it of yours if we want to know about someone who was supposed to be on the card originally, especially becasue we did it in the proper thread. Go **** yourself.

Sharmba Mitchell probably pulled out or something

seriously though .. whats the big deal?

why would anyone care about Mitchell. the guy got waxed last time out, vs Paul Williams in 4 rounds and fighting him would do absolutly nothing for Collazo .. so he's fighting Clottey instead.

is that a better response than "who cares?"

I don't think Mitchell was supposed to fight Collazo on the MSG card. boxrec showed a september date at the STAPLES center.

and not just that .. but from what I saw, on boxrec, not only was the Mitchell fight scheduled to be in LA, but at 154 instead of 147.

No, because it doesn't answer my god damn question. This **** is pretty much the same as when Gixxer comes in and reps Margarito in a "Is Zab Judah done thread?" or something like that. Ignore my posts if you don't know, I don't give a **** whether you think it is a waste of time to care about Sharmba Mitchell. I just want to know, that's it. For ****'s sake, is that too much to ask?

Damn, I can't believe Sharmba is still around and at 147 nonetheless with all those monsters there. He got destroyed by Kostya, then he fights somebody , he wins, he fights Floyd he gets clocked again, then he fights Williams. So what's next? People want to see if Sharmba can last more than 4 rounds with the top dogs of the division? How does he get all of those fights anyway? This guys is the best managed fighter of of recent memory.

Thank you. Was that supposed to be on the undercard of Vargas-Mayorga possibly?

OMG, Sharmba wants to fight at 154. He's 5' 4" with a reach of a hamster.

yeah I think that was it. (the Vargas Mayorga)

definatly .. considering it was the September bout.

and the weirdest thing about the proposed 154 pd bout (Collazo-Mitchell) was it was a title eliminator.

that makes no sense. 2 fighters, coming off of pretty bad losses, fighting for a mandatory 154 title shot?

but either way you look at it, both Mitchell and Collazo ... fighting each other in an eliminator would be highly unlikely, considering both are coming off one sided loses to high level opponents. (Mosley and P-Will)

do you catch my drift? but yeah I have no ****ing clue about Michell. but from Collazo's sense .. read above.

Yeah, I agree... I just think Mitchell had the bad luck of getting crushed by two excellent fighters. I don't think he is as shot as he showed in those two fights (he looked decent against Mayweather, but he's too old to not get destroyed by Mayweather by just looking decent). I guess it just shows how weak the 154 division is if they are waiting for two 147 pounders jumping up a weight division after a loss to give a title shot to.
