I'd all but forgotten about it, but Mike Weaver's short left hook on Big John Tate in the 15th round for the WBA heavyweight championship (in a fight he was losing badly) was one of the most devastating KO's I've ever seen. Big John went down like he was shot.
Of course it turned out he was shot.

I did something like this before. What is the single greatest ko punch in boxing history, The ten most popular answers will go into a poll and then every one can vote on which was the best. So get your thinking caps on, bear in mind they have to be worthwhile fights, not undercard fights which most people haven't heard of.
A few suggestions:-
Julian Jackson vs Herol Graham
Iran Barkley vs Thomas Hearns
Rocky Marciano vs Joe Walcott
Mike Tyson vs Trevor Berbick
Lennox Lewis vs Hasim Rahman
Sugar Ray Robinson vs Gene Fulmer
Mike McCallum vs Don Curry
Joe Walcott vs Ezzard Charles
Chris Eubank vs Michael Watson
Naseem Hamed vs Tom Johnson
Marciano vs. Walcott was the winner that time..Comment
