Ricky Hatton wouldn't stop Junior Witter, the guy is too slick, to elusive for a fighter of Hatton's style. Hatton by UD in this fight if it ever happened.

thats what I don't get ... I mean some Hatton fans are predicting Ricky to win by stoppage.

but I have heard that Hatton doesn't want to fight him ever. which was pointed out by Technical Skill.

why is that, if its such an "easy" fight. and seriously if it is an easy fight .. why not take it?

Ricky took the time to face Michael Stewart in an IBF eliminator, Juan Urango and Castillo (all 3 were pretty easy fights)

so why not fight Junior Witter .. if its such an easy fight?

PS saw an interview from Hatton and his team a while back on this site I believe .. where Billy Graham completly dissmised Junior Witter's chances (Graham made it seem like he was doing Witter a favor or something by not letting Hatton-Witter happen)

Castillo an easy fight?!?! ****.. i bet if i look in your past posts you proberbly were screaming that Castillo is gonna knock Hatton out. It wasn't such an easy ****ing fight back then was it!!!?

yeah your right! Jr Witter is an easy fight! he should definately take it... so then everyone can start crying about his padded record and that he's fighting bums. The **** can't win.

Hatton would beat Witter, Hatton is a different class. However Witter would still hurt him, punch him, give him trouble... and for what? A minute pay day when he can be scoring the big bucks of fighters from the American continents.

Hatton has only a few more fights left in him before he retires.. (not Mayweather pretend retires) ACTUAL RETIREMENT. WHy should he waste his time on a fighter who won't bring as much cash into Hattons bank account.

Its all about the money! **** Witter, nobody wants to see that arrogant piece of **** fight.

Castillo is gonna Knock Hatton out? not even close. Castillo looked horrible vs Herman. just because some people though Castillo would win .. don't count me with that bunch.

after seeing Jose Luis Castillo fight to a split decision with a fighter with 15 or so pro fights .. my mind was made up, Castillo could no longer fight at the elite level.

sure its about money .. but realistically ... how many big fights are there for Hatton? I'll leave that open ended, cuz right now all I can think of would be Cotto, a Mayweather rematch .. or a 140 pound titlist.

Hatton is going to be retired within a few fights. He'll take whatever he's got coming. He's securing his finances, he's securing a legacy by going for rematch. Then he's going down the pub, to eat, get fat and proberbly get the job talking boxing on the tv - like what he's been talking about alot recently.

Hatton doesn't want to give Witter a big payday which will happen if he gets a fight with Witter.

yeah in Junior's career .. Witter's best opponents have been who ... Corley, N'Dou and Judah.

he really needs to focus on his fight friday with Vivian Harris. win that, and maybe go for Paulie.

but still Hatton may want the big money fights. .. but the fact remains that at 140 and 147, its slim pickings as to who he can fight

Cintron .. no way .. way too big and powerful

                Margarito .. see Cintron

so unless there's a rematch with Mayweather ... the other 147 pounders are too big. not to mention fighting them wouldn't really sell .. like Berto, Clottey, P-Will aren't mainstream yet.

Cotto vs Hatton could happen ... but even that could be off if Mosley wins vs Miguel.

right now there's way too much on the table, potentially. (as it, its undecided)

but outside of a Mayweather rematch, or fighting Miguel Cotto .... Hatton's "big money" opportunites are relatively limited.

*of course if he wins vs Mayweather they would open up a lot, but right now so much is left up to be decided later in 2007.

Witter would never knock out Hatton in a million years, I would actually give you everything i own if that ever happened.
