Actually, this will help the Mayweather-Hatton PPV numbers quite a bit, assuming he doesn't act like a donkey on national TV and alienate some of the fans of DWTS. That show is the third highest ranked TV show by Nielsen (the first two spots are American Idol on Wednesday and Tuesday, respectively) and it draws almost 15 Million viewers every week. If Floyd can get even 1% of that audience to buy his next PPV, that's 150,000 PPV buys right there. Now, add that to the 450-500K that will buy the PPV anyway (including Hatton fans, of course), and now you're talking serious money.

This is a great PR stunt by Mayweather. Business is business and, like he says, if it makes dollars it makes sense.
