You might not like the persona he created, but it has:

1) made him a ****load of money

2) made him the center of attention (count the threads)

everyone seems to love pernell whitaker
granted he's an amazing fighter with a great defensive style
but everyone hates on mayweather
and they hate on his defensive style
even though mayweather has showed thru his career even more so then whitaker that he's been willing to engage in high action fights and mix it up from time to time

huh there styles are nothin alike.. parnell was on crack beating everybody stands more square and uses his legs.. and mayweather runs 11 miles per day to edge out victories but that side stance **** only works against incomlete fighters... .. but if he squared up and fought of his back foot like barerra he would be hell becuase he has all the punches... hatton wont beat him tho only some body fast on the feet with a jab or real tall with a jab.... cintron williams would be a tough fight becuas of floyds hieght.. mosley becuase hes faster and can use the jab.. i dont think hatton stands a chance
