    What Makes A Better Trainer/

    a trainer who is always yelling at you constantly on your ass about every little thing like **** that dont even matter..or sort of like a calm, relaxed trainer sorta like an emmanuel steward?

    If you think emmanuel is always calm watch that Taylor vs Spinks fight again my freind. I think you can pick and choose when to be assertive and when to lay back and let the fighter be them. Noone likes a tyrannical trainer who excepts nothing but perfection but a fighter does need to be pushed now and than, it's a balance of both that works best.

      yeh i can only name one other fight where emmanuel steward yelled his lungs out..that was lewis vs tyson

        Wow, I was going to type pretty much the exact same thing. Well said.

        Specifically, I think the two trainers that do this best are Steward and I think Buddy McGirt is one of those trainers who is able to motivate even though he almost never yells. More than anything, he can tell what is going on with his fighter every time.

          Those who can read a fighter and know what the fighter will respond best to. I've seen Jeff Fenech scream at his fighters after they've had a good round.

          I like the way Tito Snr, slapped Tito across the face in the DLH fight.
