I honestly believe that at this point history will favor Finito. I am Puerto Rican and I think Calderon has represented himself as a good boxer and now arguments can be made as one of the best in the lower divisions. But what Finito did in his time was just amazing. The power and abilities he possessed where unquestionable. Also, Finito did retire unblemished which is something unheard of these days. So I vote Finito as of Right Now but who knows only time will tell.

          In both fighters prime...

          Ricardo Lopez.

Bigger and has punching power. Calderon would have been Ko'd.

But today Calderon carries the torch.

Ricardo was still out boxing guys when he was in his mid thirties. This sort of question is very premature.

i think calderon is on his way but miles stones need to be met before he can be on lopez's level or surpass him.......

i'm big on the little big man calderon, it's a shame that he is in such a lighter weight class, the world would be all over him if he was a Welterweight or something to that nature but as far as skill he's got a lot and he's a smart fighter. but it's a time thing and a achievement or mile stone thing before he reaches the upper crust of being a great like lopez.
